Foundation and Early Steps
The idea for Nova Horizon Game was born in 2023, when a group of friends with a passion for space and science fiction came together. Although our team members had diverse backgrounds and experience in the gaming industry, we all shared a single dream: to create a rich, vibrant universe that would offer players a space-faring experience far beyond the ordinary. In the early days, we went from brainstorming around a small table at home to experimenting with Unreal Engine 5 and developing various prototypes—a process filled with both excitement and challenges.
Laying the Foundations
From the start, our founding team prioritized conceptual design and the development of core mechanics. We initially focused on programming essential features such as the inventory system, item collection, and a basic crafting module. We then moved on to NPC behavior, aiming to give the game an interactive, living world feel. Throughout this phase, we encountered both technical hurdles and project-planning obstacles, but our creativity and determination helped us overcome each new challenge.
Branding and Community Building
As our vision became clearer, we recognized the need to present our brand to the outside world. Adopting the name “Nova Horizon,” we crafted an identity that reflected the spirit of our project. Before long, we set up social media accounts and community channels. Our goal was to share the excitement of our work from the early stages onward, gathering a supportive community that could provide feedback along the way.

Professional Growth and Expansion
As the project progressed, our team grew with the addition of talented individuals: visual designers, programmers, musicians, and story writers. During this period, we also began refining the technical infrastructure needed to take the game’s development further. We enhanced NPC systems, optimized planet-creation tools, and enriched the spaceship mechanics. Around the same time, we started preparing for our future releases on platforms such as Steam and the Epic Games Store.
